Video Poker In Video Poker, or draw poker, you may bet from $0.25 to $5 per playing cards (hand). The sums may be different for the machines and casinos you’re playing. After you put in your money (in most online casinos it is usually about $20), you choose whether you want to bet in dollars, pounds etc. When you’re ready to play, click on the “Deal Draw” button to get your cards. To win, you should have the right combination of cards (there are many of them – below we describe some of them). If you want to have better cards, choose “Hold” for those you want to keep and the rest will be replaced by the new cards when you click on the “Deal Draw” button again. To sum up, the rules for video poker are: - Put in your money into the machine. - Click on the “Deal Draw” button. - After seeing your cards, decide which ones you want to keep and them click on the “Hold” button which is under each of the card. - Click on the “Deal Draw” button again. - Do that as long as it’s fun! - If you want to finish the game click on the “Credit” or “Cash Out” button. Some online casinos offer the option to double your money in a second round, after you have won in the first. It is called a “Double Playoff Round.” (If you don't want to play this second round, you can just click on "Collect" to get your winnings.) The double playoff round works like this: The poker machine’s cards will turn over (face down), and then the machine will quickly take one card. You are betting on whether the next card the machine takes will be higher or lower than the first card. If the next card the machine takes is higher than the first card, you win your bet and double your money. If the card is lower, you lose your money. If it’s the same card, nobody wins or loses. Remember to click on the “double” button if you want to double your bet.
