In spite of the fact that Keno is a game of luck, you can apply to it some strategy to raise your winning chances. Consider that numbers that are drawn don’t have any relation to those drawn previously, as they are drawn randomly. There is no greater chance of seeing 9, 21, 35, 38, and 57 come up, than seeing five in a row, in example 1, 2 ,3 ,4 and 5 on a five numbers ticket. It is a consequence of the fact that the probability of drawing each number is exactly the same. Take a look at our Keno Probabilities page if you would like to see how the odds shape up in Keno. In Keno, differently from other games like Poker or Blackjack, actions which are taken during the game doesn’t have much influence on the game’s outcome. But some gamers believe that there are few tricks that may help. They can’t be called pure strategies, rather tips and techniques which are often used and can make the game more interesting. They are as follows: If some numbers haven’t been drawn in few last games – play them. Some says that when the number haven’t been drawn recently it will come out in long-term result. But as the game is random, there is no certainty on that. There are lot of keno gamblers who will bet on the numbers which have come up instead of betting on the numbers that haven't appeared in the few games back. There are some interesting patterns that could be found between drawn numbers in few games, sometimes against the rules of chance and probability. If focus on them you may find some concurrence in this random game which may be profitable to you. Another tip is picking successive numbers, in example 12 and 13 or perhaps 43 and 44. Many of the numbers that come out are in consecutive pairs. Yet again due to random factor there is no proof that it will always work in a long run, but many of the Keno players believe in that rule. |
