Yet, most people agree that Baccarat dates back to Middle Ages. How where the game appear? There is a theory that it was created by an Italian money-lender, Lino Bussoli, in the remote and mountainous region of Abbruzzo. Because of his ugly appearance and hidden, dishonest dealings, Bussoli was feared throughout the territory. He was born with a severely hooked nose and what is more, his ears were cut off by a local citi soldier as a punishment for his bad behaviour and disloyalty to the common accepted principles. However he didn’t give up and nothing stopped him from searching for the new ways of making money. He is said to be responsible for a host of gambling games which have changed over the years as they spread to various part of the globe. The original version of Baccarat moved to France. After some time it was the famous game among the French aristocracy. The game continued to develop gradually and at the moment we have four contemporary variations:
Baccarat is also famous among Asian people, who regularly visit Las Vegas . The wealthy people from Asian continent just can not resist playing this elegant game in such sophisticated atmosphere as Baccarat assures. The game has the greatest popularity in the Portuguese territory of Macao, near Hong Kong. Why? Because the system of the casinos is not as heavily regulated as the American one. The Portuguese tables often allow multiple players to bet on a single spot at the same time, while the expert dealers mentally keep track of each player’s commision on winning bank bets. |
