1. Thou is prepared for losing.
Regardless of how experienced you are and how sophisticated your strategies are, there is still probability that you lose. Be prepared for this, accept winning of the House. If you expected only winnings all the time, then when you lose (and such a moment will undoubtedly come) you would be really frustrated. Treat losses as a natural part of gambling.

2. Thou knows local law.
Maybe you’ll be surprised, but gambling is not allowed everywhere or under all circumstance. Analyze local law, and ensure you don’t brake the law when gambling to avoid any problems later.
