Craps is the type of game where its complication depends on players bets, it can be very simple or very complicated. It is a social game that involves several players. One of the players is called the “shooter” and he is the one that rolls the dice. How does it work? It seems to be very simple: the shooter rolls the dice and all other players are making bets on the numbers that come up or don’t come up. Bets are made before the shooter rolls the dice. The first bet is called “pass line bet” and it is on the first roll called the “come out roll”. ." The outcome of these bets depends on what the come out roll will be. Pass line bets are immediate winners if the come out roll is 7 or 11, and they are immediate losers if the come out roll is 2, 3, or 12. If any of the remaining numbers (4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10) comes out it becomes a “point”. If the shooter rolls the point, he or she must continue rolling the dice until either the number identified as the point OR a 7 comes up. If the point comes up before 7, all pass line bets win. If the opposite happens, all pass line bets lose. Either way, nothing will happen in a game of craps until one of these two numbers appears, so there's a theoretical chance that the game could continue all night. It sounds like lots of fun and excitement! Here is a list of the basic bets players can make (with their payoffs): Come Bets – It is just like Pass Line Bet, but it can be made after a point has been rolled by a come out roll. The Come Bet wins if the next roll is 7 or 11 and loses when 2, 3 or 12 is rolled. If the shooter rolls 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 is rolled then that number becomes the “come point” If the next roll is a point before a 7 is rolled the come bet wins and loses if the opposite occurs. Come bets cannot be removed or changed. The payoff is 1 to 1. |
