Betting Systems This text will give you information about different categories of betting systems: Positive progression betting: increase your bet every time you win. This is a quite popular betting system, due the fact that you don’t need a large bankroll to start with. Insurance betting system: decrease your bet every time you lose. This is one of the safest betting techniques ever. When you play this technique you are “playing it safe”. Negative progression betting: increase your bet ever time you lose. It is largely used in order to reverse a losing tendency streak. It is not very popular system among common amateur gamblers because it requires a rather large bankroll. Below is an explanation of most commonly used betting techniques. You may find the information below useful, but remember that you should not totally rely on them. This techniques are based on mathematics. Remember that there is no perfect gambling technique that should be used all the time. Gambling Fallacy: According to this technique if a certain card or a number has not shown up recently, it will definitely occur in a near future. But this technique is a wrong technique, you may figure it out of the technique name. The problem with this technique is that it incorrectly takes for granted that mathematical probabilities will give reason to whoever attempts to predict a future situation. This is why relying on the Gambling Fallacy is highly risky, simply because the factual grounds of such a technique are largely inaccurate. Though it might be tempting in certain occasions to rely on the likelihood of an event to occur by basing one's judgment on past events, it would be advisable to avoid using this technique Martingale System: The origins of the system are pretty old so the system itself is labeled as proof-tested. Martingale system takes for granted the fact that you will lose an infinite amount of times in a session, and applies largely to even money bets. The rules of the systems are simple: change your bet (high or down) when you win, but if you lose always double the bet you just lost. This system is a negative progression system. This system requires a large bankroll and it is highly risky. The system is based on the fact that you may lose many games in a row but eventually you will win and recover all you lost money plus some extra. But, some casinos have a house limit, in that case this technique loses its credibility and legitimacy when you reach that limit. D’Alenbert System: The system’s rules are similar to Martingale technique but D’Alenbert technique is far much safer. Raise your bet each time you lose and decrease your bet every time you win. This will let you recover your losses by gradually betting higher after losing and will let you keep most of your winnings by betting less each time you win. Parlay System: This system is often used in horse racing. How it works? Quite simple, take your winnings from one bet and invest them on the next bet. It is a positive progression system and it is considered to be a safe technique. Players using this technique generally aim for a winning situation that will occur in a quite distant future, as in theory it should protect the accumulated winnings. Paroli System: It is the exact opposite of the Martingale technique. If you win, you increase your bet. As opposed to the Martingale system, the Paroli system substantially enhances your winning if you are enjoying a winning streak situation. Most importantly, this system does not involve an important bankroll. 1-3-2-6 System: This system takes for granted that you should be able to win four times in a row. The bets are categorized form 1 to 6 units, and 6 is the highest bet. Your first bet should be 1 unit, the second 3 units, the third 2 units and the fourth bet 6 units. Despite the mathematics involved in this system, it is fairly straightforward. All in all, the system offers insurance by altering the bets each time, and taking money away when you win at particular moments. If you end up winning four times in a succession, it is very good opportunity to substantially increase your bankroll. But remember that the situation when you win 4 times in a row is as likely as the situation when you will lose 4 times in a row. |
